    There are perspectives the earth does not surrender over easily. At the summit of Reinebringen, the clouds rolled in and the wind rose hard enough that I crouched against the narrow peak, half-convinced I might be carried straight over its edge. Below, Lofoten unfolded in impossible scale. For a moment, the mountains let me borrow their perspective. And forever, I am grateful.
